Why This Site Exists

New Moon Reading was built for one simple reason: most astrology content online is either a generic, one-size-fits-all horoscope column, or so dense with jargon that it's inaccessible if you're new to the subject. This site exists to sit in the middle — approachable, personalised, and genuinely useful as a starting point for understanding your own birth chart.

Everything published here is written to be read by complete beginners. You don't need to know what a "Venus placement" is before you arrive — that's exactly what the articles are here to explain.

Who Writes This

I'm Elena, and I write and edit the content on this site. My interest in astrology started the way it does for a lot of people — through curiosity about my own moon sign — and turned into several years of reading, researching and writing about lunar and natal astrology for a general audience.
